Santiago de Compostela in Spain





I will introduce about Santiago de Compostela’s history. Santiago de Compostela was registered in 1993. Santiago de Compostela is old town. In those days, there was Saint James. He is a member of the Apostles. It is people who engaged in Jesus Christ. There is Santiago de Compostela Church. This is one of the most famous the Catholic Church, because Saint James is buried here. He popularizes Christianity in Spain, but King Herod kills him, because he is Jewry. One day, a sheepherder fined James’s grave by star’s guide, so the church builds as grave. He is called Santiago in Spanish, and church is compositum and star field is campus stellae in Latin, so this town is called Santiago de Compostela.
